Homer the pup graces the red carpet at the DogCatemy Awards Gala

On September 6, 2009 North Shore Animal League's fabulous, third-annual DogCatemy Awards Gala was held at Capitale in downtown Manhattan. That's me on the red carpet with Homer, an adorable, six-month-old "Mutt-igree" who's up for adoption. Homer was fascinated by my evening bag, and no wonder: it's a crystal-paved minaudiere by Judith Leiber, in the shape of a cat – a blue-eyed Siamese, if you please!
